Dr Chari is a well known Corporate Trainer, Soft Skills Trainer, and Motivator
Being a psychological counsellor, he has been actively involved since 1990 in shaping the personality of more than 50000 youth. “Don’t wait for things to happen, make things happen. Be the architect of your own life design” is the strong and clear message he sends to the youth in all his training programs in small groups of 25-30.
“Gurukul”, a specially designed out of the city three day leadership training program piloted by Dr Chari since 25 years is for 40 young professionals and businessmen which prepares them to meet the challenges of relationship management and helps them shed egos. Yet another innovative program designed by them is SEED (Skill Enhancement and Emotional Development) for school teachers. In all these programs main emphasis is on the need for adaptability and flexibility in the teaching / training style. As a social obligation he is involved with conducting personality and public speaking programs for blind school children and 10th and 11th standard students coming to the library run by a charitable trust in slums. Since 15 years he has piloted a 3 month program ‘Unnati’ for 50 selected college students who cannot afford his professional programs and are below economic lines. The idea is to make them employable or entrepreneurs. He is the founder member of ONE foundation... a Youth Enrichment Initiative.
Dr Chari is the most sought after trainer by various MBA, Engineering and Chartered accountant colleges for conducting 7 days soft skill development program including practical training on group discussion and personal interview. He is a regular faculty at the one month general management and communication skills program for chartered accountants organized by ICAI at their Center of Excellence, Hyderabad.
He is regularly associated with more than 25 business houses for corporate training on leadership, team building, managing relationships, communication skills, self concept, public speaking and presentation skills.
Training of trainers is a 10 day course designed by his team for HR professionals, Medical, Engineering, MBA college and school teachers that Dr Chari conducts regularly. Since he has been a professor in Biochemistry himself (with more than 75 scientific publications) in various government medical colleges in Maharashtra since last 41 years he closely appreciates the need for change in the teaching methods. In fact he has been the recipient of the best teacher’s award two times. Presently he is working as Director Research & Medical Education Technology and Professor Biochemistry at NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur with 75 publications in indexed journals and is a FAIMER fellow (international medical educators two years degree).
He has been regularly piloting as a lead faculty the 3 day basic course in education technology, 2 months leadership certificate course for health science teachers, communication skills part I, I & III for UG medical students, mentorship programs for UG medical students, early clinical exposure for first year MBBS students, certificate course entitled "hospitality in hospitals" for hospital nurses, Speech craft a presentation skills certificate course for residents and teachers. His publications include 25 research papers exclusively in education technology including one on leadership and administrative skills.
He has been the past president of Rotary Club of Nagpur Orange City and assistant governor dist 3030 for 2010-2011. Past secretary Maharashtra State Jaycees, member National Faculty cell member of Jaycees. Executive member of management associations, society for international development, quality circle forum of India, NIPM, NHRD, FICCI.
He is the past Vice President Association of Counselors and Psychotherapists, Nagpur, Member Academy of Medical Science. Member Board of Advisors of Institute of psycho Management Studies, Nagpur and was Member Advisory Committee, at the Regional Center for National Faculty Development of Medical Council of India at Wardha. External Examiner Lancashire University UK (2002 to 2007) for their BSc (Hon) Biomedical science program along with DY Patil Institute of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Mumbai. Visited Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia on Academic assignments. Selected to represent India at the 15th Asian Youth Voyage to Japan. Represented Society for International Development at the International Conference on Poverty and Women Empowerment at Colombo, Sri Lanka. Represented India as chaperon at the Asia Pacific Children convention to Japan in 1999. Represented India to South Korea as Group Leader at the Rotary Group Study Exchange 2005
Apart from all this he along with his wife Kalpana who is a school teacher in Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Nagpur and son Rahul and daughter in law, Rucha who are both dentists working in New Zealand, finds time to nurture his hobbies. Dr Suresh Chari, who has won number of prizes in debating, drama and music, is frequently seen on stage singing with the orchestra or anchoring talk shows on local TV channel.
Dr Suresh Chari is known for his powerful oratory and communication skills, his very lucid and easy blend of English and Hindi, and a body language that can be understood and appreciated by everyone. Humor and real life examples make him reach out to all.

Born in the year of independence in Calcutta she did her schooling in Pratt Memorial School followed by graduation from Presidency College and post graduation from the Calcutta University. With a honours in physiology and post graduation in the same subject specializing in biochemistry she was offered a UGC fellowship to do research work in the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences in Calcutta. Later she shifted to Nagpur and did B.Ed from Nagpur University.
She started her teaching career in Mount Carmel School teaching students of pre primary and primary classes. After seven years in Mount Carmel School she joined Centre Point School as a science teacher. The next twenty five years she taught science to students of primary, secondary and senior secondary classes till her retirement as a Principal of the school in 2013.
As a teacher she trained students for various science exhibitions, talks and quizzes. Besides handling the administrative responsibilities. She continued to teach biology and chemistry to the senior classes and was HOD of the science department. She did academic related work for CBSE like question paper setting for Class 10, head examiner of science for Class 10, nodal supervisor of CBSE evaluation of Classes 10 and 12, headed teams for assessment of evidences submitted by schools from all over Maharashtra, did inspection of schools for CBSE affiliation also monitoring and mentoring of schools in and around Nagpur. Presently she is one of the Master trainers of CBSE for CCE, Life Skills, Gender Sensitivity, Classroom Management, Career Guidance, Adolescence Education, Secondary Science & Value Education.
During her tenure she got many opportunities to work with teachers of different schools where she successfully headed the teams, guided the members and in the process learnt a lot herself.
As a student she was a National Champion in rifle shooting and went up to the selections for World Shooting Championship.
She loves travelling, reading and she is interested in wildlife. She has travelled widely in India and abroad.
