  • Speech competition
Speech competition was held on 13th august 2015. On the occasion of celebration of Independence Day to pay tribute to national leaders and freedom fighters. The topic of the speech was Patriotism. The students presented their emotions through their inspirational words and the teachers as well as the students were filled with a sense of Patriotism. Many students from class IX and X participated. Winners of the competition are as follows:

  • Patriotic song competition
Patriotic song competition was organized on 14th august 2015.To instill the sense of patriotism and to show their love for the nation students presented beautifully sung patriotic songs. Respected Principal Madam and Respected Shamim Madam were present on the Dias. It was a house-wise competition held to convey the message of patriotism to the students. The students participated very enthusiastically and filled the atmosphere with a spirit of national devotion. Winners are as follows:-

4] Green House [Emerald]
 
  • Indian Freedom Strugle From 1857-1947 (Social Studies Exhibition)
To celebrate the Independence Day, our freedom fighters fought the battle with the Britishers and sacrificed their lives for the nation. On the eve of Independence Day; students were made to prepare charts on various topics to be displayed in the exhibition. The freedom struggle which began in the year 1857 and ended its journey 90 years later in the year 1947 was fully shown through the various charts prepared beautifully by the students. Different topics were given to the various class students which covered the whole aspect of the freedom struggle.
 
  • Drawing competition
Different activities are always conducted in the school to inculcate the spirit of team work, cooperation, creativity and to develop the artistic skills of the students. These activities are necessary to avoid the monotonous work of academics and to make the students enjoy the school life. Students from various classes participated enthusiastically in such competitions. They showed their creativity in drawing and craft.
 
  • Clay Modelling
Different activities are always conducted in the school to inculcate the spirit of team work, cooperation, creativity and to develop the artistic skills of the students. These activities are necessary to avoid the monotonous work of academics and to make the students enjoy the school life. Students from various classes participated enthusiastically in such competitions. They showed their creativity in making clay models and put forth superb and brilliant art.
 
  • Mathematics Chart Exhibition
‘Mathematics’ a very essential subject in many fields, including natural science, engineering, medicine and finance. Mathematics which means ‘that which is learnt’. Students often while doing mathematical problems develop anxiety or phobia of the subject. Maths has always been put on a pedestal as a very hard subject. If you can’t do it, it is accepted. If you can do it you are regarded as a genius. To remove this phobia, and to make the subject more friendly, a Mathematics Chart Exhibition was held in the school on 17th of October. Students from classes VI to X were told to prepare innovative and creative charts on various topics given to them by Maths teachers. The purpose of this exhibition was to make the students aware of the history of maths and the various contributions of mathematicians. Respected Co-ordinator Madam, Principal Madam, Vice-Principal Sir and Supervisor Madam appreciated the efforts taken by the students and all the maths teachers. Group wise certificates were distributed according to their presentation of the charts. Special recognition was also given to a model prepared by one of the groups.
 
  • Garba competition
The word garba comes from the Sanskrit word ‘Garbha’ meaning womb. Traditionally the dance is performed around a clay lantern with a light inside called ‘Garbha Deep’. This lantern represents life. The dancers thus honor ‘Durga’, the feminine form of divinity. It is performed mostly during the nine-day festival of navratri. A Garba competition was organized in the school on 21st of October to celebrate the festival. The students participated enthusiastically in this competition. An aura of festive celebration arised through the colorful traditional dresses worn by the students. Groups of various classes were made. The students then danced to the tunes of Garba songs and enjoyed every moment. Different rounds were arranged class-wise and winners were announced accordingly.
 
  • Teacher's Training Sessions
Every year before the academic session start, teachers are given training to upgrade their knowledge and teaching skills. This training covers each and every aspect of teaching. Teachers are able to learn new techniques of teaching, dealing with the children and improving their skills in academics as well as other extracurricular activities.
 
  • Parent - Teacher Meet
School always believes in a healthy communication with the parents. Parent-teacher meets are organised from time to time to convey overall growth status of the child to the parents. During the meet parents are able to see the academic performance of their ward as well as take a look at the extra activities which are displayed in the corridors. The classes are also decorated with the activities done by the students.
 
  • Students Council Elections
In Indo Public School election for students’ council was held on 9th July, 2015.Students Council and house committee are the administrative body for the students, which work in same manner as different levels of Government that function in our country. To build up the same sense of responsibility and to make students understand the administrative functioning in our school, the students’ council and house committees were elected.
